Definition: the hard pitch obtained from deep process of coal tar hard pitch or general coal hard pitch.
Application courses: Coal Science and Technology (first-grade subject); Coal Utilization and Processing (Second grade subject); Coal reversion (third grade subject).
Physical and chemical properties:
It is black brittle solid at a normal temperature, glossy; odoriferous, toxic.
Boiling point: less than 470°C, flash point: 204.4°C, relative density (moisture=1): 1.15~1.25.
This product complies with YB/T5194-93 modified hard pitch standard.
Usage:
It is used in manufacturing pre-baked anode cells, high-power electrodes in electrolytic aluminum field, and it can also be used as electrode binder.
